“Goodness gracious me!” said Hattie the hen. “I see
something movin’ in the bushes again. Think I’ll
move a little closer and see what I can see. There’s

Chorus
“Good grief!” said the goose. “Well well,” said
the pig. “Who cares?” said the sheep. “So what?”
said the horse. The cow looked around to the right

“Goodness gracious me!” said Hattie the hen. “I see
something movin’ in the bushes again. Think I’ll
move a little closer and see what I can see. The nose
has eyes and they’re lookin’ at me.”

Chorus
“Goodness gracious me………
The eyes have ears and they’re listenin’ to me.”

Chorus
“Goodness gracious me………
The ears have legs and they look fast to me.”

Chorus
“Goodness gracious me………
legs are connected to a hairy body.”

Chorus
“Goodness gracious me………
The body has a tail. It’s a fox I see!”

“Oh no!” said the goose.
“Dear me!” said the pig.
“Oh dear!” said the sheep.
“Oh help!” said the horse.
But the cow said “MOOOOO!”
so very loudly that the fox was
